POLICE STAFFS SEEK REFUGE IN DILAPIDATED HOUSES

Police officers at Kanjedza Police Training school in Blantyre have expressed concerns over the poor condition of houses they are living in.
Speaking to one of the staffs at the institution who asked for anonymous, says they are living in time-worn houses which were constructed at past. Houses have cracks and leaking roofs. They put stones and plastic papers on the doors.
He added that this problem has greatly affect them. Things get worse during rainy season as they need to cover household equipments with plastics papers due to dripping of houses.
Kanjedza Police Training school is one of the police training schools in Malawi offering hands on experience in security sector.
The Malawi Police Service was established on 5th October, 1921 as Nyasaland Police Force. It is a government department under the Ministry of Homeland and security.

ReplyDeleteThanks government for the good start, at least the project of new houses for Police officers have started. Security departments need to be motivated.
